Report an error

Send the guide, the claim you think is wrong, and, if you have it, a source that contradicts it. We verify before we change anything. A verified fix goes into the guide, and we credit readers who catch real errors unless you'd rather not be named.

Suggest a product

Tell us the product name, the maker, and where the specifications live (a link to the product page is perfect). Suggestions shape the research queue; they are not a promise of coverage, and makers don't get a preview of the result either way.

Vendors and PR

Specs, manuals and documentation are always welcome; placement is not for sale. We don't accept free products, sponsorships or paid placements, so please don't offer them. Mark vendor email as such in the subject line and we'll treat it as background information.

What we can't help with

We're researchers, not veterinarians, so please don't send health or behavior questions about your specific birds. For those, a poultry vet or your local cooperative extension office is the right door. Purchase questions ("will this coop fit six hens?") are exactly what the guides and calculators are for.

On replies: verified errors are handled first, because they affect published claims. For everything else, a personal reply can take a few days.
